If translators did not exist, we should have to invent them.
The good news for other people is that I haven't been asking other people for translations, and just letting the statements and actions of other people flow over me. I've been working on the basis that if I need to know something, I will be told, and if I am not being told, then I don't need to worry myself about it, since it's not about me. It has left me more dull, I fear, but as nobody has mentioned that to me, I haven't yet needed to care.
Making my ow translations has been extremely difficult, although it's getting easier and easier. But that doesn't mean I don't wonder. It certainly doesn't mean that people can't make me panicky by accident.
Mushu is back, though. I only saw him on Friday, but that's enough to tip me off. I do appreciate having someone around willing to speak or translate at all. I think it's best to try and let him come and help, if he can. I forgot how much I had missed my daemon.
