The past few days have been very busy and very boring at the same time, and it made me quite fussy. However, I got some good things done.

- I am now officially graduated from college. Again. Because my school lost the transcript that showed I'd completed my language requirement, so they said I hadn't really graduated. $5.45 and a great deal of phone tag got the transcript sent to them again, so I am graduated once more.

- I have a new therapist! I'm meeting him for the first time on Thursday, and I am very excited about that. It's definitely taken a while, but I hope it will be worth it. He works with anger issues/management and resolution of trauma, as well as EMDR.

- My dad gave me his old Color Nook (it is 12 years old and still working!), so it will be much easier for me to read all the public-domain works I've been downloading. It fits very well into my hand, and doesn't do anything except show the file and turn its pages, which I am very happy for.

- Ended up buying a card game secondhand for $52 (after tax)...which didn't have all the cards. I felt like a fool, cheated, because even though I'd been looking at it for a while and making sure I had space and money for it and everything, it still ended up not working. Hopefully, I will be able to return it.

- My doctor should be getting back to me tomorrow, if Podiatry doesn't. My feet are feeling so good today that I have barely needed to wear my shoes!

- I've confirmed my driving lessons in the next few weeks, and I am quite sure I will be able to show my teacher some progress.

Today has largely been moving along quite nicely. I drove Mom on errands and about halfway back, because we needed to go to two places with very difficult parking lots, right around rush hour. I also set up the Podiatry appointment -- that's on the 17th of this month, which is a bit later than I hoped for, but it's closer than my worst fears.

I thought about reaching out to Malcolm to let him know that I could look after that one doll of his that his partner doesn't like. After all, he reached out to me about sending that package to me...but, at the same time, it's probably for the best to let that package come first, if it comes at all. The email is saved as a draft, so if it seems like I could, I will.

I came very close to getting angry today, though. I opened my email and saw a message from my college, once again claiming that I had not graduated or submitted required documents. I got on the phone with them immediately, and demanded to speak to somebody "who knew something" until I got an answer. Turns out that they forgot to update their records that I had provided my transcript, so the email may be disregarded.

I'm realizing more and more how much I don't need as much social media as I've been using. It makes me poxy and fretful, and I don't need that. Besides, I don't really have that many friends there, since I lost Malcolm. The ones I do have on social media mostly don't post much, and whether they have done so or not can be checked once daily.

Meanwhile, I've got much more going on here, on my RP site, and my other blog, which are all steady but moderate in their activity. On weekends I have DnD, and book club. With the Nook, I have much more access to books than I had -- well, ones I had trouble reading on my computer, I mean.
