Week 13, Entry 1
Aug. 15th, 2022 08:39 pmI am going to write things down right now so that I am not focusing on panicking.
I wrote that last night, and then just started panicking too much to even write more. I had sensory hallucinations until I fell asleep, and then nightmares until I was awake. I'm going to have to tell my doctor -- psych, but also physical therapist when I meet up with him. That'll take a while, though, getting to either of them.
This week, I'm going to have to skip SMART, since my podiatry appointment is at the same time. I hope that the appointment goes well, even though I still have a few weeks to go in the recovery he initially projected.
Today I got things done that I wanted to, but I was extremely clumsy. I tripped over nearly anything touching the ground; doorways, doorknobs, and doors themselves all seemed to be out for me, and when none of these were available I tripped over my own feet. I didn't get angry, but it was very frustrating. Focusing on a project helped a lot, though, if for no other reason that it kept me from walking around or going near doors.
I'm going to try and sleep early, and if that doesn't work, I'll try some offline projects.
