Week 32, Entry 2
Dec. 29th, 2022 03:08 pmYesterday at physical therapy, I was told that I went through my stretches and exercises perfectly, I just need to maintain them. My movements were smooth, no pain at all. Last night my nose was running again, but that's just been a broad reaction to the dry weather and heater use. I was feeling quite good, though, took half a dose of cold medicine since I'm out of antihistamines, and went to bed.
This morning, I woke up, and I felt so tired and miserable that I wasn't sure what to do. I had no appetite, I was dizzy and sore all over. It felt as though there was a thin line of ice water through the center of my bones, and I couldn't seem to feel warm. Which, given that it was 71 F in the house, was unusual, to put it mildly. Olivia made me breakfast, which is good, because I wasn't up to handling fire.
Once I did that, I went upstairs, took two tabs of cold medicine and went back to bed with another thick blanket to try and warm myself up. I slept for about five hours, and woke up feeling less cold and sore. I still feel tired, but my appetite is kind of back. So maybe I'm getting better? I don't know how I collapsed so quickly.
