Week 32, Entry 1

goatgodschildChristmas is over, which is, in a word, freeing. Even better, all day today it's been pouring rain.
I went to church on Christmas Eve, but ended up first waking up on Christmas morning at 4:30am, then 5:30am, and then it was like 9am+, which frustrated me, because I try to get up early for it. We each had a slice of toast, because it would take a long time to get brunch together, then opened presents. Mom put this amazing pudding together, eggs and milk and apple and cinnamon, and my dad and sister made a bowl of scrambled eggs, salmon, and turkey sausage. Then we were all so full that we napped for a while, then took a walk down at the harbor. I couldn't do much walking, because one of my toes was infected, but it was nice to get out.
Yesterday, we were all exhausted, except Olivia, who headed off to ASAP. I forget what much else happened, except that I kept having awful acid reflux, and that was no fun. Mom and Papa had the tree down by the time I had woken up, and Mom decided to sort the ornaments, which is probably for the best, making sure they're all in order. I kept sneezing all the time, though it happened today as well.
This morning, I had a horrible nightmare that made me wake up in a puddle of sweat. It took me a while to calm down, but once I did so, I went straight back to sleep. The rest of today, I read (finished The Great Hunt and everything!), cleaned up the bathroom, watched Glass Onion with my parents, and best of all, we had our Christmas Ham! And what a delicious ham it was, with vegetables and potatoes on the side! Mom and Papa had an excellent wine as well, and while I had two sips of that (one to go with the potatoes, one to go with the ham), I did not have any more than that.
I had a little bowl of cereal at about 6:30pm, in order to try and relax my stomach before bed. I hope that tonight is easier, because tomorrow I'm going to CVS to get some antihistamines.
