Homeschooling can really be a pain for you, socially speaking. It’s an extremely small subgroup in comparison to public schools, and also is an extremely small group of people in regards to class and gender and race. And body type. And religion.

And because your schedule is pretty much opposite to everyone else your age, you end up with everyone in your extended group being your functional cousins. So there’s a lot of cousin-esque nonsense that takes place with them. But that’s just with the kids. The moms play social games like the fates of nations rest on it.

Let’s look at this from an anthropological perspective.

  • Advancement (people love their kids)
  • Social net (protection, power)
  • Chronic pain +/- anxiety
