Week 51, Entry 2

goatgodschildToday was my first day at work! I had a wonderful time.
It is only fair to say that I got quite frustrated this morning. I was not cold or threatening, but very frustrated all the same. Mom woke me up and told me to get ready, we were going to head out to the shoe store! I got up and dressed and took my meds, although I hadn't had breakfast -- but when I came downstairs, she was already gone! She had told me last night that we were going together today, and woken me up, and for all that, off she went without me! I was upset, but Papa calmed me down and I made myself breakfast. It was all for the best, as I wouldn't have gotten the shoes anyhow.
At work, I learned all kinds of things! The main ones are: where to go when the fire alarm gets pulled, where the keys to the book drop are, how to identify my schedule, how to record where I'm shelving. I'm looking forwards to going back.
