Week 73, Entry 1

This weekend was rather busy. My sister invited my parents and I to a local Night Market, and we were all excited about it, but then my sister got so sick that she couldn't get out of bed, so we had to go on our own. I tried to pick up what she wanted at the Night Market, which ended up costing $85 at the Korean BBQ stand for:
- 1 order of fried chicken
- 1 BBQ'd and skewered squid (this was too chewy to get through)
- 1 order of miniature bao
It was okay, but not $85 worth.
I'm trying to sort out my diet again, because I have had a variety of cravings lately. There's been protein, which is reasonable, given my increased activity at work, but there have been others -- ice cream, which I initially put down to the protein, but now it's been ginger, bananas, and carrots.
What I need to focus on is diminishing sugar, now that I've been able to lower carbohydrates when I put my mind to it. I have a terrible sweet tooth, although a rather discerning one. Which was useful when what I was turning down was Skittles and the like, but at work -- today, there were fresh Spudnuts. Last week, it was ginger-molasses cookies. My coworkers are very skilled in this regard.
